This is a 2-hour, joint instructional training session focused on media skills for the elected boards of Estes Park, Loveland and Larimer County. Some staff will attend as well. The training will help prepare elected officials to serve as spokespeople and deliver focused, important messages to and through the media to constituents and partners. This "media skills boot camp" includes rules of engagement with the media, setting your agenda and messages, interviewing, and crisis communications. After the presentation there will be time for questions and discussion. A detailed agenda will be provided closer to the training. This will be posted as a public meeting, and public may attend the zoom call in view-only mode. This training will not be recorded.
