Proclamations are ceremonial documents signed by the Mayor. Information is provided by the requestor, via the below form, and the formal proclamation is composed, printed, stamped with the Town of Estes Park seal, and signed by the Mayor. In some cases, the Mayor may present the proclamation in person or at Town Board meetings. Otherwise, proclamations may be picked up at the Clerk's Office or mailed to the recipient.
Please note, requests should be made at least 10 business days in advance of the proclamation deadline date
and the Mayor reserves the right to modify or deny any proclamation request.
Proclamations may be requested for:
Centennial birthdays/anniversaries
Cultural/historical occasions
Unique achievements (Olympic medal, State Championship)
Support for a cause
Significant contributions and service to the community
Honors and Certificates
Honors and certificates to commemorate smaller events or achievements (business milestone anniversaries) can be requested by contacting the Town Clerk's Office at townclerk@estes.org.
