ALICE Training: Active Shooter Response

ALICE Training is a proactive response to an active shooter/violent intruder situation that can occur anywhere and at any time. ALICE stands for Alert, Lockdown, Inform, Counter, and Evacuate. ALICE was developed by a law enforcement officer and an elementary school principal following the Columbine High School massacre. The program studied multiple active shooter situations to learn what kind of responses save lives. The goal is to retrain and empower those who find themselves in an active shooter/violent intruder situation. ALICE Training provides multiple ways to respond to an active shooter situation and gives civilians the confidence and training needed to save lives.

For more information or to inquire about scheduling an ALICE Training, please contact Sergeant Caleb Robertson at 970-577-3871.
