The following resources are provided to support community members who rent a home in Estes Park.

The Fair Housing Act prohibits discrimination by direct providers of housing, such as landlords and real estate companies as well as other entities, such as municipalities, banks or other lending institutions and homeowners insurance companies whose discriminatory practices make housing unavailable to persons because of:

State

Colorado Civil Rights Division - charted with the enforcement of the Colorado Anti-Discrimination Act (CADA). CADA prohibits discrimination based on protected class in employment, housing, and places of public accommodation. Visit Complaint Portal Assistant to file a complaint.

U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Office for Civil Rights (OCR), enforces federal civil rights laws, which help to protect individuals from unfair treatment or discrimination because of race, color, national origin, disability, age, or sex.
