The Utilities Department is comprised of two Divisions: Power and Communication and Water. The department's goals are:
In 2019, Estes Park launched a community-owned and operated broadband service to the electric service area transforming Light & Power into Power and Communications. Estes Park's broadband offering will be its own municipal utility, ensuring the same premier level of service and support community members and businesses have come to trust from Estes Park Light & Power. Utility customers will soon be able to sign up to receive email or text notifications for power outages and water meter notifications. These notifications will alert customers to power outages and potential water leaks at their service locations.
To establish a new utility account, change the account owner for an existing account, or for questions regarding your utility bill, please contact Utility Billing at 970-577-4800.
