Building Permit Types and Processing Timeline

Safebuilt is dedicated to processing permits with utmost efficiency. Depending on the project's scope of work, we strive to complete the first review of a residential permit within five days and a commercial permit within 10 days.

There are various types of building permits:

  1. Residential Building Permits (if structural work, a plan review is required)

  3. Miscellaneous Permits (Non-Structural, generally no plan review required)

    • Mechanical (Boilers, Hot Water Heaters, Furnace, AC, Minor Plumbing)
    • Windows & Doors, Change of Use (example: convert garage to bedroom)
