Energy Efficiency

Efficiency Works is a collaboration of common efficiency programs between the utilities of Estes Park Power and Communications, Fort Collins Utilities, Longmont Power & Communications, Loveland Water and Power, and Platte River Power Authority.

Since 2014, Efficiency Works has achieved energy savings equivalent to the average energy use of 10,000 homes in our communities, and we plan to continue increasing our energy savings goals each year.

Each utility designates funding to help support the Efficiency Works program and its goals. Funding provided by each utility is only used in that utility's community; the Efficiency Works program cannot transfer funds between communities. This ensures that ratepayers are only helping to fund programs in their own communities.

Efficiency Works can help you improve the comfort of your home or business, save money on your utility bills and support environmental stewardship through low-cost energy audits, technical advisory experts, and installation of free energy-saving products, as well as rebates to qualified customers to help reduce the costs of the making improvements for energy efficiency savings.

For Homes

Efficiency Works Homes program offers homeowners and renters affordable assessments to see where you can focus your hard-earned dollars in upgrading your home efficiently. An efficiency advisor will walk you through the process from start to finish, even helping you review quotes.

For Businesses

Efficiency Works Business program helps you identify and implement cost-effective efficiency upgrades for new or existing buildings. We can provide a free facility assessment, connect you with a contractor to perform efficiency upgrades, and best of all - provide rebates for any upgrade that saves energy and/or water.
